Strengthen the capacity of AFSRT to implement designed programmes by ensuring functional systems, structures and policies, with effective leadership and motivated staff
Activities:
- Developing bankable business plan and investment plan then implementing (farming, WASH business and earning commission as agent).
- Lobbying for fund to set up learning/resource centre.
- Constructing the infrastructures and facilities such as seeds & feed factories.
- Organising internal and external capacity building and participating on exchange programmes.
- Setting up a server and a comprehensive data base.
- Establishing e-training system.
- Setting up modern farms to offer practical skills to young farmers.
- Reviewing and improving on AFSRT policies.
